==== By Rail ====

  * [[http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/|Virgin Trains]] - Operate many services to the city
  * [[http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/|Merseytravel]] - For local buses, trains and even ferries (cue the music).

==== By Road ====

For visitors from mainland Europe budget airlines seem to have the best deals, [[http://www.ryanair.com/en|Ryanair]] and [[http://www.easyjet.com/|Easyjet]] offer services to Liverpool.

==== By Sea ====

For visitors from Ireland getting a ferry to Liverpool is a great option. The city was built for it's location on the sea and is still a major shipping hub.
